Job Description

If you're the kind of person who can't walk past a broken machine without wanting to fix it, this role is for you. You'll keep production running by troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment across the facility. This is a hands-on role where your skills directly keep the operation moving.


What You'll Be Doing

  • Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on production equipment
  • Troubleshoot and fix mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues
  • Diagnose problems using blueprints, schematics, manuals, and testing tools
  • Handle startups, changeovers, and equipment adjustments to keep lines running
  • Complete work orders and track repairs in the system (CMMS)
  • Help install and set up new machines and equipment
  • Spot issues early and suggest fixes to reduce downtime and improve performance
  • Keep your work area clean, safe, and organized
  • Step in for emergency repairs or on-call support when needed

Equipment You'll Work On

  • Motors, bearings, gearboxes, pumps, and conveyors
  • PLC-controlled equipment (basic troubleshooting)
  • Electrical systems (480V / 3-phase)
  • Pneumatic and hydraulic systems
  • Production machinery (packaging, filling, molding, assembly, etc.)
  • Building systems like HVAC, air compressors, and utilities

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years of hands-on maintenance experience in manufacturing or industrial settings
  • Strong troubleshooting skills-you can figure out what's wrong and fix it
  • Comfortable working with tools, electrical systems, and machinery
  • Able to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manuals
  • Basic PLC knowledge is a plus (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.)
  • Experience with welding, fabrication, or machining is a bonus

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED (trade school is a plus)
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stay on your feet throughout the shift
  • Comfortable working in a loud, fast-paced industrial environment
  • Knowledge of lockout/tagout and safety practices

Nice to Have (Not Required)

  • OSHA 10 or 30
  • Electrical or maintenance certifications
  • HVAC, refrigeration, or similar licenses
